COURSE DESCRIPTION:


Antsy for Anstey is GoodRunnings’ SECOND fully trail-based run, held in the infamous Anstey Hill Recreation Park. Scheduled two weeks before the Federation Trail Ultra and a month before the Barossa Marathon, it offers a great opportunity to those trying to build up to a difficult distance/course in one of the most scenic locations in the area. The course involves remaining exclusively on the 6.2km Yellowtail Loop, with distances of 6.2, 12.4, 18.6, 21.1, 24.8, 31, and 42.2 on offer. All distances with the exception of the half and full marathon involve full laps of the Yellowtail Loop; the half and full marathon options involve multiple laps of the Yellowtail Loop, plus one ‘out and back’ segment to complete the noted distance.

AID:


There will be 1 aid station on the course, at the start/finish of each lap. Runners are recommended to bring their own hydration supplies if they feel they need more water. The aid station will have lollies, hydration, and first aid.

Medals are free to anyone running at least a half marathon distance and $8 to anyone running a shorter distance. Personalised medal inscriptions (with name and time) are available for an extra $5.

**MARATHON PARTICIPANTS: To ensure there are enough people to go ahead with the marathon distance, we request all runners interested in the marathon first register their FREE expression of interest through the registration link. Once 7 people have registered their interest, all interested parties will be contacted to officially register for the distance. Each runner will be charged the price which would have been available (early, standard, and late) when they registered their expression of interest. 



RACE BRIEFING TIME

All runners are expected to be present at the start 15 minutes before their distance’s start time for the race briefing. Early and late starts can be arranged with an acceptable reason at the event organiser’s discretion. Please contact GoodRunningsinfo@gmail.com if you wish to arrange and early/late start. ALL EARLY/LATE STARTS MUST BE ARRANGED PRIOR TO THE EVENT.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

PLEASE NOTE: The ‘BAROSSA RUN' IS AN OUT-AND-BACK, SELF-SUPPORTED RUNNING EVENT. It starts at the Lyndoch portion of the Barossa Walking Trail (also known as the Jack Bobridge Trail) and continues onward in the direction of Tanunda before returning. Participants running more than 21km will do two loops.

AID:

There will be one manned aid station on the course at the start/finish and one unmanned station 10km in (for those doing 20km or more). The manned aid station will have lollies, hydration, and first aid; the unmanned aid station will have lollies and hydration. Participants are strongly encouraged to supply their own hydration to supplement the aid stations.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Victory Harbor is GoodRunnings’ third fully trail-based run, held in Newland Head Conservation Park in Victor Harbor. Scheduled at the start of summer, it offers the perfect opportunity to explore one of the most picturesque courses in the area with stunning views of blue oceans and cliffs. The course follows part of the Heysen Trail, with distances of 3km, 5km, 7.5km, 10km, 15km, 21.1km, and 30km. All distances of 21.1km and less involve one loop; distances of more than 21.1km involve two loops.

AID:

There will be 1 manned aid station on the course, at the start/finish of each lap.
