May the Fourth be with You!
May the 4th is one of the most internationally recognised holidays around the world. Not just a celebration of Star Wars, it celebrates Sci-Fi, and, perhaps more importantly, the inner geek in all of us. So, whether you’re of the Star Wars/Star Trek/Firefly debate or simply love all things geek, the Geek Run is for you!
The Geek Run offers a rare evening run.
Walkers accepted. The cut-off is midnight.
Course Description & Map:

The Geek Run uses a course in the City of Norwood, Payneham, & St Peters. The course is a 5km loop along the river, a quiet scene in shady forestry. All distances less than 7.5km will do a shortened loop and all distances more than 5km will do multiple loops.

Medal:
An optional medal is available for $13 to all finishers. Personalised medal inscriptions (with name, messages, and/or finish time) are available for an extra $5-$12 — $5 for name, $8 for name & personalised message (under 25 characters), and $12 for name & finish time (includes postage).
Bib Collection, Race Briefing, & Start Location:
Bib collection is exclusively available on the day, starting 30 minutes prior to the wave’s start time. The race briefing will begin promptly 15 minutes prior to each wave’s start time. All participants will be expected to socially distance during the briefing, at the start line, and on course.
English as a Second Language (Simplified) Race Briefing
If English isn’t your first language, you may have experience difficulties understanding the accent, speed, or event-specific words in the briefing. Don’t worry – we can help! We have an ESL expert on our team who gives a simplified race briefing. The simplified race briefing will use simpler words, slower speech, and more one-on-one contact. Even if English is your first language, but you prefer quieter race briefings with more opportunities to ask questions, this is the briefing for you! The ESL (Simplified) Race Briefing will occur at 5:30pm & 6:05pm for this event.
